07 May Goldcar reaffirms its support for culture, as a dynamic axis of tourism
The brand strengthens its link with music by sponsoring festivals and concert series, as well as its support for young artists.
Goldcar, the leading company in the holiday car rental market, reaffirms its commitment with culture by supporting different initiatives related to music, one of the main motors of touristic activity in our country.
For the fourth consecutive year, the brand has decided to unite with live music since, according to 2017 statistics, on average, around 24,000 people participate in festivals per day. Among the sponsorship supporting activities that Goldcar offers these types of events, it’s offering its rental fleet as the official mode of transportation, which boosts its mobility services and reinforces the visibility of the musical events through the company’s promotional channels.
According to Pedro Pablo Sastre, Goldcar’s e-commerce director, “in Goldcar we’re always looking for high impact sponsorships within the regions where we operate. The musical ecosystem moves dozens of thousands of people and provides social, cultural and economical benefits; in Goldcar we want to contribute to that task.”
Specifically, Goldcar will be the official rent-a-car of some of the music festivals- Low Festival, Warm Up Festival, Alicante Spring Festival, Mallorca Live Festival, Fuzzville or A Summer Story – which will take place throughout the summer in different provinces of Spain such as Alicante, Murcia, Baleares and Madrid, where the company enjoys an outstanding presence and will be handing out merchandising to the audience. Through this collaboration format, the operator draws the brand’s image towards a young and dynamic audience which is key for business. In fact, starting this year, those who are 21 years or younger and have a driver’s licence that’s at least 12 months old can rent a car in any of our offices in Spain and Portugal.
As part of its alliance with culture, Goldcar also supports young up-and-coming musicians such as Blas Cantó or Dani Fernández, who have recently debuted in their solo careers after being part of the famous boymand Auryn, or the Alicante native group Sra. Robinson. Some of the exclusive concert series organised by Meet & Live will also be sponsored by the brand.
“We are super excited to collaborate with culture and more, if it’s through music like it is this time. It’s our pleasure to support national Spanish groups, which are mostly made up of young and travelling profiles, just like Goldcar’s customers”, stated Sastre.
