02 Feb Young people between 19 and 21 years old can rent with Goldcar
“It will be necessary to have had a driver’s licence for at least 12 months. “Available in all offices in Spain (except Pamplona) and in Portugal.
Goldcar, a market leader in the car rental market, announces that those under 21 years old who have a driving licence for at least 12 months, can hire a vehicle in any of the branches of the company in Spain (except Pamplona) and in Portugal. With this initiative, the company is positioned as one of the few companies in the market that offers rental to this age group.
The new measure takes effect today, January 29th, and will be available for certain categories of vehicles such as the economic and compact. This way, younger users can benefit from the wide range of Goldcar services at competitive prices. According to Juan Carlos Azcona, CEO of Goldcar, “from now on we will bring our offer to a group of young people who have been demanding a car rental service for a long time, so they can travel more freely and discover new places they have not been able to visit until now. It is undoubtedly a key measure for us that I am sure will have a positive impact on our business.”
This initiative is one more step on the agreement signed between Goldcar and RACE at the beginning of 2017 whereby all young drivers between 18 and 21 years old who took a course in the Drivers’ Academy RACE – Red Bull could access the hire of a car in any of the Goldcar offices. However, from now on, it will no longer be necessary to have completed the course.
