27 Mar Goldcar walks the St. James’ Way alongside the World Tourism Organisation.
Goldcar collaborated with the international project “The value of the human rights on the Camino de Santiago: harnessing the power of tourism to promote cross-cultural dialogue and achieve the SDGs.”
This wonderful project aimed to study tourism, as well as human rights through the Camino de Santiago as an essential element to configure the global culture and identity and its relation with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). The journey was intended for university students and incorporated the WTO Framework Convention on Tourism Ethics.
The event was held alongside the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in order to spread the importance of the intercultural values worldwide.
This project presents tourism as a practice of tolerance and care for the environment. Goldcar could not miss out!
